The Art of Teaching Restorative Yoga - 15 Hour Immersion

  • The Summer Moon 2910 Franklin Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95818 (map)

When you are nourished, you can do more with ease. When you are rested, you make better decisions and are more focused. Our bodies trust us when they know we’re going to take care of them.

Restorative Yoga helps us relax and rest deeply, and benefits our physical, mental and emotional health.

This form of non-sleep deep relaxation is the perfect compliment to an active lifestyle, injury recovery or as a soothing balm during periods of high stress. Restorative Yoga classes utilize props, like bolsters, blankets, blocks, and eye pillows to relieve physical tension and quiet the mind. Poses are held for an extended period of time to balance the nervous system and give the body time to decompress.

In this 15-hour immersion, you will learn:

  • the A, B, Cs of Restorative Yoga

  • the art of teaching Restorative Yoga

  • the physiology of relaxation

  • how to sequence and deliver a Restorative Yoga class

Everything is better when we feel rested. Give your body the rest it deserves.

Cost: Early Bird up to December 30th $395; After January 1st $450
